The pictures with a black background are not only particularly beautiful but also offer very special possibilities in the implementation. You can work out contrasts very well and bring colours to light.

To get a smooth, smooth black background on the photo is unfortunately not easy. Usually, the subject is too dark or the background too bright.

You should look for photos with ablack background:

The black background has to be clean, dust or lint can be seen very clearly in the photo. Think about the picture composition beforehand: what colour is as in front of the black background?

Uses a tripod and rather exposes the image instead of raising the ISO value, the background quickly becomes crisp and ghastly.Try to illuminate the subject and not the background. If you use a flash or daylight, shield the background from it. If your light source is a window, set your set so that only the subject is in the light. Only so you succeed a photo with impeccable black in the background and a sufficiently illuminated motive.

Now you may wonder what such a background might be. Heavy fabrics are excellent as a black photo background. The fabric swallows a lot of light, which is good. Unfortunately, I did not get so clear with the fabric.

I tested three different substances, there was always a lint somewhere and that made me mad. My favourite background is a simple MDF board from the hardware store. The plates can be trimmed, they are cheap and can be hidden in the cupboard or under the bed.
